| Questions involving relationships in which I need to look at both person's charts are $30.00 for the first two pages, and $15.00 per additional page. Relationships are complicated, and the shorter report will be an analysis of the most important factors affecting the relationship, but will have nowhere near the level of detail contained in a full scale relationship analysis. It's a good option if you aren't ready to invest in the full treatment. |
| All reports are personally written for you and you alone - these reports are not computer printouts! A few words about the difference between computer printouts and personally written reports: computer printouts are kind of hit and miss, and there's a reason for that. A computer can only look at your chart as a collection of individual placements and aspects. An astrologer looks at it as one complete picture. A good analogy is baking: to make a cake, you need several individual components - flour, eggs, oil, etc. The finished product bears little resemblance to the original ingredients, it is the combination of these ingredients that turns them into a cake. So, too, with an astrology chart. For example, say your Sun is in the sign of Cancer, and Mars and Venus are also in the sign of Cancer, close enough to the Sun to be considered a conjunction (planets occupying the same degree of the zodiac, give or take a few degrees). Conjunctions are considered to be a combination of the energies of the planetary components. Across the chart, in the sign of Capricorn (Cancer's polar opposite), you have Pluto, occupying the corresponding degree in Capricorn, creating an aspect known as an opposition. A computer program (even the really good ones) will interpret thusly: Sun conjunct Mars Sun conjunct Venus Venus conjunct Mars Pluto oppose Sun Pluto oppose Mars Pluto oppose Venus An astrologer will look at the whole picture and interpret: Sun/Mars/Venus conjunction oppose Pluto The energies will be blended in the second form of interpretation, and, like the ingredients in the aforementioned cake, will likely form quite a different picture than all the individual aspects interpreted separately. That said, it's not that "canned" reports have no value. They're good as far as they go, they just can only go so far. Many of the individual interpretations will be valid. You just won't get the more complex interpretations. You'll probably get what seems like contradictory interpretations, but if an astrologer was interpreting the chart instead of the computer, you'd learn how these seemingly contradictory interpretations blend together and interact with each other, producing a clearer picture of the dynamics involved, and overlap to form dynamics of their own, that a computer program will not pick up on. People whose natal charts don't have stelliums (4 or more planets in a sign), that are aspecting other clusters of conjunctions in their charts, will probably get a more accurate computer printout than those who do, because the interactions between planets are more separated; in other words, there are more stand-alone aspects Computer printouts can be a good, inexpensive starting point for anyone interested in astrology. You'll identify with enough of the report, and learn enough, to make you want to learn more, and dig deeper. You'll get an idea of what astrology really does, and it will whet your appetite for the real thing. |
